You will be picked up by a representative at Marrakech airport. Then relax for transfer to Marrakech city centre. The transfer will be by private minibus.

Private transport to the town of Demnate, see the Imi n' Ifri caves and the pomegranate trees around the town before driving into the High Atlas. Experience the amazing views of the mountains, gorges and valleys along the route, with the almond blossom in early spring contrasting with snow still on the mountain peaks. The Valley of Ait Boulli comes as a surprise, almost a hidden valley where the terrain flattens out and the sight of walnut orchards shows that you have arrived. Drive up the valley and overnight in a camp in the village of Tarbat N’Tirssal.

Passage of a pass at 2850m, then we continue the mule track which overlooks the valley of Assif N'Ghasf, Descent by a path towards the lawns of Iblouzen, installation of a beautiful camp at 2600m. During this day: optional ascent of the Jebel Ghat off the beaten track, virgin and characteristic summit, descent by the red pass which overlooks the valley of Aït Mallal (3781m). 8h30 walk, elevation gain +/-1180m.

Beautiful stage in the heart of the massif far from the known paths, along the southern piedmont of the Adrar Tig-nousti; pretty pass at 3000m, practiced only by the nomads and shepherds of the Tessaout, continuation to the plateau which turns into a lake with snowmelt. Installation of the bivouac at 2650m.

Departure from the dry high-altitude lake in order to rediscover the peasant and agricultural life of the villagers at the bottom of Tessaout: Amzri, Tasgaiwarte, Tessaout Oufella and many other hamlets nestled on the western foothills of M'Goun. Installation of the bivouac at the edge of the stream, at the entrance to the Ouandrass gorges (2350m). 6h to 6h30 walk.

Ascent via a landscaped path to the Col d'Asdrem (3200m). On the plateau, discover the chasms and caves occupied by the nomads of Dadès. Continuation of the hike to the basin of Tarkeddit surrounded by mountains, this is the base camp of M'Goun. Installation of the bivouac at 2890m.

Day of relaxation and discovery of the remarkable site of Tarkeddit and the nomads who settle there for the summer months.

Optional ascent of M'Goun (4068m): on a path in successive stages, then along a ridge line to the summit (provide a windbreak), the view carrying very far to the south to Dadès and the Ouarzazate steppe. Picnic, then descent by the same path and return to the bivouac. 9h to 9h30 walk, elevation gain +/-1170m.

We leave the highlands. Ascent to Tizi N'Tarkeddit (3300m), splendid view of the surrounding peaks. Descent along the transhumance path to the sheepfolds of Ikiss (2100m), picnic near a beautiful spring. In the afternoon, continue to the sheepfolds of Ikiss, stroll at the end of the day in the beautiful gorges of Arouss. Last night under tent, at 2200m, at the edge of the stream.

Quiet descent, discovery of troglodyte dwellings along the assif Arouss, then Aït Saïd. Continuation of the hike towards the fertile valley of Aït Bougmez, crossing from village to village between fields of apple trees and hundred-year-old walnut trees which shelter giant stork nests. Visit the dinosaur tracks of Agard Nouzrou, just at the foot of the marabout of Sidi Moussa. Installation in a gîte for two nights (1800m).

Travel to Marrakech, past deep gorges and oak woodland scrub on the sides of the mountain. Passing Azilal, visiting the famous water falls of Ouzoud then carry onwards to Marrakech.

Transfer will be by private minibus.
